Applications are invited from interested candidates for the Registrar in Emergency Medicine position.

1 x 12 months

1 x 6 months

Key Requirements for the Position:

  • Must be registered in the General Division of the Medical Council.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years full-time Emergency medicine experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Core requirements for this post include: a demonstrable commitment to medicine, good decision making, a broad clinical knowledge base and appropriate clinical skills, awareness of patient safety and risk management issues and the ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
  • MRCPI is desirable.

The salary for the post will be in accordance with the scale as determined by the Department of Health & Children.
