Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Nursing
The purpose of the post is to Participate with the Director of Nursing in managing the day-to-day activities of the hospital
ensuring a quality patient – focused service is delivered.
Key Requirements for the Position:
• Registered with the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
• Minimum Seven years post-registration experience
• 5 years’ experience at minimum CNM3 level
• BSc in Nursing Management essential
• MSc in Nursing Management desirable
• Knowledge/experience of Risk Management and Health & Safety essential
• Knowledge of Human Resource Management essential
• Evidence of clinical, leadership, managerial and administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the office
