National Haemochromatosis Awareness Day
7th June 2018

Haemochromatosis awareness day 2018.06.07
Our Haemochromatosis nurse, Margaret Dobbin, is in the Bloomfields Shopping Centre this morning (07 June 2018) to help raise awareness about Haemochromatosis.
Haemochromatosis is an iron overload disorder, particularly prevalent among Irish and Celtic people. It is a genetic condition that causes people to absorb excessive amounts of dietary iron which may in time lead to serious organ damage.
If you would like to know more about Haemochromatosis, call over to the shopping centre and talk to Margaret.
