Senior House officer – General Surgery Full-time Temporary contract x 2

  1. 3 months in SMH & 3 months in SVUH Liver
  2. 3 months in SMH & 3 months in SVUH Colorectal

Applications are invited from interested candidates for the three Surgical SHO positions. These three positions are full-time temporary, working 39 hours per week.

  1. 3 months in SMH & 3 months in SVUH Liver
  2. 3 months in SMH & 3 months in SVUH Colorectal

Key Requirements for the Position:

  • Must be registered in the General Division of the Medical Council.
  • Must have a minimum of 12 month’s experience in an Irish/EU hospital.

Desirable requirements for the Position:

  • Have at least 6 months’ surgical SHO experience in an Irish/EU hospital.

The salary for the post will be in accordance with the scale as determined by the Department of Health & Children.
